Workshops

Juniper Arts Academy’s workshop program at the Sedgwick County Juvenile Detention Facility provides youth with a creative outlet through visual arts and music, fostering self-expression, emotional growth, and positive peer connections in a supportive environment.

  • If you are interested in using your musical and/or artistic skills to make a difference in the lives of young people in juvenile detention, this is a great opportunity! Individuals can learn more and apply HERE.

Music & Art Clubs

Juniper Arts Academy's Art & Music Clubs provide youth in foster care with a supportive space to explore creativity, develop artistic skills, and build confidence through trauma-informed, quality visual arts and music classes. These clubs foster self-expression, social-emotional growth, and a sense of belonging.

  • Students enrolled in Juniper Music Clubs learn a variety of instruments including, but not limited to, piano, guitar, ukulele, and percussion. All classes are taught by professional music educators.

Summer Camps

Juniper Arts Academy’s Summer Camps provide a supportive community where youth in foster care explore their creativity in a safe and welcoming space. Through visual arts and music education, students build confidence & experience the stability of a caring, creative environment during the summer months.
