Trust-Based Relational Intervention Training®

What is TBRI®?

TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.

Juniper & TBRI®

At Juniper Arts Academy, we use Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Through connection, empowerment, and correction, our trained staff and volunteers use TBRI strategies to meet students' needs, foster trust, and encourage personal growth. Whether in music, visual arts, or creative expression, TBRI helps every student feel valued, heard, and capable of success.

By integrating TBRI into our arts programs, we create not just artists, but confident, empowered young people ready to thrive.

TBRI® Training for a Stronger Community

Juniper Arts Academy offers Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) trainings to equip educators, caregivers, and community members with trauma-informed tools to support youth. Led by Lisa Paine, a TBRI Practitioner, these trainings provide practical strategies for building trust, fostering connection, and helping young people thrive.

Whether you're a teacher, mentor, or parent, TBRI training empowers you to create safe, supportive environments where all youth can grow.
